New Train Between Jaipur and Lucknow

To clear the extra rush of passengers Railways have decided to run a special train between Jaipur and Lucknow via Bhagalpur, Mathura,Kasganj and Kanpur.

Train will leave from Jaipur on September 80, 2013 at 21.45 hrs on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. It will reach Lucknow at 10.25 hrs.

The same train will leave from Lucknow on September 09, 2013 at 12.25 hrs on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and will reach Jaipur at 01.45 hrs on the next day.

The Train No. 09707 / 09708 Jaipur – Lucknow – Jaipur Tri – Weekly special express train 2013 will stop at the following Stations : Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dousa, Bandikui Jn, Kherli, Nadbai, Bharatpur Jn., Achhenera Jn., Mathura Jn., Hathras City, Kasganj Jn., Farrukhabad Jn., Kannauj, Kanpur Anwarganj and Kanpur Central station in both the directions.

New Superfast Train between Jaipur and Jodhpur

A long pending demand of passengers for a morning train service between #Jaipur and #Jodhpur has been approved.
A new super fast special train commenced its first journey on 21st August, 2013.

Train

The train with 15 coaches, including AC and non-ac chair cars, will leave at 6 am and reach Jodhpur at 10:30 am. In return journey from Jodhpur, the train will depart at 6:15 pm and reach Jaipur at 10:40 pm. The train will have brief stoppages at Phulera, Kuchaman City, Makrana, Degana, Merta, Gotan and Rai-ka-Babh.

Luxury trains of Rajasthan to don new look

The popular luxury trains of Rajasthan – Palace on Wheels and Royal Rajasthan on Wheels are soon going to get a major makeover. Being sensitive towards the expectations of the travelers, the Indian Railways and RTDC have decided to refurbish the trains with new heritage look adorned by the finest trappings one can expect from a luxe train.

All the facilities in the trains are being modernized including water purifiers in washrooms aside from superior communication and entertainment devices. Even the dining cart, the bar and lounge will be given a new look. The spa and health club will also get major upgrades.
As for the RROW makeover, the wooden floors would be covered with exquisite carpets to minimize noise. Further, new doors will replace existing ones. Besides, the train speed will also be increased so that guests spend less time on wheels and enjoy more time at the destinations. “However, the itinerary and tariffs for the trains will remain same in 2013-14.

Indian Railways to run special Jyotirlingan Trains from Jaipur!

The Ministry of Indian Railway has decided to launch seven Jyotirlring special trains from Jaipur Junction. These trains will run under the authorization of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation. The trains are scheduled to be departure from Jaipur Junction on 30th June and passengers boarding these trains will return back to the Jaipur by 11th July. Trains will cover the various ‘Mahadev’ pilgrim spots in the course of 10 days.

New Train between Jaipur and Secundrabad

Ajmer Ahmedabad Train

The Railways have decided to run special trains between Secundrabad and Jaipur via Narkher to clear the extra rush of passengers this summer.

Accordingly, train number 09736 Jaipur-Secundrabad special will leave Jaipur at 9.10 pm on March 23 (Saturday) and arrive Secundrabad at 7.30 am on third day (Monday).

This train will leave from Betul at 1.55 pm, Amla-2.26 pm, Narkher-3.50 pm, Chandur Bazar-5.40 pm, New Amravati-6.20 pm and Badnera-6.40 pm on March 24.

In its return journey, train number 09735 Secundrabad-Jaipur special will leave Secundrabad at 10.00 pm on March 25 (Monday) and arrive Jaipur at 06.15 am on third day (Wednesday).

This train will leave Badnera at 9.35 am, New Amravati at 9.50 am, Chandur Bazar at 10.35 am, Narkhed at 12.00 noon, Amla at 12.39 pm and Betul at 2.15 pm on March 26.

It will halt at Durgapura, Bhanasthali Niwai, Sawai Modhopur, Kota Junction, Ramganj Mandi, Nagda Junction, Ujjain, Barchha, Shujalpur, Sehore, Bhopal, Habibganj, Itarsi, Betul, Amla, Narkher, Chandur Bazar, New Amravati, Badnera, Murtajapur, Akola, Washim, Hingoli Deccan, Purna, H.Sahib Nanded, Mudkhed, Nizamabad, Kamareddy and Medchal in both directions.

The composition will be a total 20 coaches including One First-cum-2 Tier AC, One AC-2-tier, Four AC-3-tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class and 2 General Second Class cum brake vans, according to a release from Public Relations department of Central Railway, Nagpur.

Railway Minister announced 5 New Trains for Rajasthan

Railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansal announced the introduction of 19 new train services, extension of three and increase in frequency of five trains acceding to demands of MPs. Out of which, 5 new trains along with some increased frequency trains are introduced for Rajasthan.

The new Trains announced for Rajasthan are…

  1. Jodhpur-Samdari-Bhildi passenger (daily)
  2. Nagpur-Ajmer Express (weekly) via Bhopal, Kota, Nagada
  3. Bilaspur- Jodhpur Express (Twice in a week)
  4. Bilaspur-Bikaner Express (Twice in a week)
  5. Okha-Nathdwara Express (weekly) via Dwarka,

Increase in Frequency of trains

  1. Puri-Ajmer Express (weekly) via Abu Road will be bi-weekly

New additional train between Jaipur and Yeshvantpur

The railways have decided to run a weekly Yeshvantpur-Jaipur-Yeshvantpur Garib Rath (06511/06512) from January 6 to June 25, 2013

The Yeshvantpur-Jaipur train will leave Yeshvantpur every Sunday at 5.20 am, reaching Pune at 4.55 am on Monday and will arrive at Jaipur on Tuesday at 4.15 am. On its return journey, the train will leave Jaipur on Tuesday at 3.30 pm, reach Pune on Wednesday at 3.30 pm and will reach Yeshvantpur on Thursday at 3.10 pm.

The Train will halt at Tumkur, Arsikere Jn, Birur Jn, Devangere, Haveri, Hubli Jn, Gadag Jn, Bagalkot, Bijapur, Solapur Jn, Kurduvadi, Pune Jn, Lonavala, Kalyan Jn, Vasai Road, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara Jn, Anand Jn, Nadiad Jn, Ahmedabad Jn, Sabarmati Jn, Mahesana Jn, Palanpur Jn, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar Jn, Ajmer Jn, Kishangarh and finally reach Jaipur.

Ajmer-Ahmedabad Holiday Special set to run from November 26

The Indian railways have started a new weekly holiday special train between Ajmer and Ahmedabad in view of the vacation rush. This train would start its first journey from November 26, 2012 and carry the passengers til December 26, 2012.

The North Western Railway official has confirmed that the Ajmer-Ahmedabad Holiday special train is scheduled to depart from Ajmer from November 26 to December 24 on Mondays at 09.20am with an arrival time of 07.00pm at Ahmedabad. It would return from Ahmedabad on Wednesdays at 06.05 in the morning from November 28 to December 26 and would reach Ajmer at 03.55pm.

This train would at Byawar, Marwar Junction, Phalna, Sirohi Road, Abu Road, Palanpur, Siddhpur, Uunjha, Mehsana, and Sabarmati Stations.

Apart from the Ajmer-Ahmedabad Holiday Special,  Agra-Jaipur Shatabdi Express and Bikaner-Delhi Sarai Rohilla would run from November 28 and December01, respectively.

Jaipur-Agra Fort Shatabdi Express to hit the tracks from November 30, 2012

The pink city is all set to receive the gift of Jaipur Agra Shatabdi express this month. Announcement about the train was made in the union rail budget 2011. As per the Railway officials, Coaches of the luxury train have now reached Jaipur and the train would come down on track from November 30, 2012.

The Jaipur-Agra fort Shatabdi express is scheduled to depart from Jaipur at 7:05 in the morning with an arrival time of 10:35 at Agra. It would return from Agra fort at 4:20 in the evening and would reach Jaipur at 7:50 pm. The train would only halt at Bharatpur station during its journey.

Tourism industries  have welcomed the new Shatabdi Express which will reduce travelling time and provide a comfortable journey to visitors.

New train between Bikaner and Coimbatore announced

The Indian Railways flagged off a new AC Super Fast Weekly Express Train between Coimbatore and Bikaner. The regular service of this train will start from Coimbatore on 15 – 09 – 2012 and from Bikaner on 20 – 09 – 2012.

Up to October 31, train no. 22476 Coimbatore-Bikaner express will leave Coimbatore at 3.20 pm on Saturdays and will reach Bikaner at 5 pm on Mondays. From Bikaner, train no. 22475 will leave at 5.45 am on Thursdays and will reach Coimbatore at 4.35 am on Saturdays.

From November 1, train no. 22476 will leave Coimbatore at 3.20 pm on Saturdays and will reach Bikaner at 12.25 pm on Mondays. Train no. 22475 will leave Bikaner at 5.45 am on Thursdays and will reach Coimbatore at 2.50 am on Saturdays.

This train will stop at Palakkad, Shoranur, Kozhikkode, Kannur, Mangalore Junction, Udupi, Bhatkal, Karwar, Madgaon, Kankavali, Ratnagiri, Chiplun, Roha, Panvel, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Ankleshwar, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Mehesana Junction, Palanpur, Abu Road, Marwar Junction, Palimarwar, Luni, Jodhpur, Maria Road Junction, Nagaur and Nokha.
